While Rick has helped his clients navigate many different market environments throughout his career, his goal for them has remained the same – to confidently pursue and realize their financial and life goals such as a comfortable retirement.
Rick began his career in 1996 at Olde Brokerage and moved to First American National Bank as an investment executive in 1997. He moved to Cavalry Bancorp in 2000 where he started the brokerage division. In 2006, he affiliated with Raymond James and joined Pinnacle Financial Partners with the Cavalry Bancorp merger. He is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University, where he earned a BBA in finance and graduated magna cum laude. He holds Series 7, 24, 52, 63 and 66 securities licenses.
Rick has also been very active in serving his community. He is a member of Board of Trustees for Community Investment Trust for the City of Murfreesboro. He was a Murfreesboro City Councilmember from 2014 to 2022, and served on the Planning Commission, Parks and Recreation Commission, Power Board, Risk Management Committee, Linebaugh Foundation Board, Golf Commission and Tennis Committee. He is a past chairperson of the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce’s Governmental Affairs Council and has also served as a volunteer for the World Outreach Church Children’s Ministry.
Rick is a native of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and lives here today with his wife, Lee Ann. They have two children now in college, Adam and Alison. In his free time, Rick enjoys being outdoors, hunting and fishing.
